PROJECT DETAILS
An ongoing project, the North Avenue Corridor Improvements is the revitalization of 5.5 miles of streets for the traveling public, featuring dedicated bike and bus lanes with Maryland’s first ‘Red Asphalt’.
Besides colorful asphalt and MMA coating, the project also includes new storm drain features, pedestrian lighting, traffic signals, concrete and ADA repairs, roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, pavement markings, and landscaping.
